Welcome to the 8th International Conference on Fisheries, Aquatic, and Environmental Sciences (ICFAES 2026)

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 8th ICFAES 2026, an annual international hybrid conference to be held on September 15th, 2026, in Banda Aceh, Aceh Province, Indonesia, and virtually via Zoom Cloud Meeting.

This conference is proudly organized by the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), continuing a tradition since 2018. Over the past seven editions, ICFAES has established itself as a trusted scientific forum that brings together academics, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders from various countries.

Under the theme of “Resilient Aquatic Ecosystems in the Era of Climate Change”, the 8th ICFAES 2026 aims to strengthen interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration in addressing one of the most pressing global challenges of our time. The conference will highlight innovative research, practical solutions, and policy perspectives that support the resilience of aquatic ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.

ICFAES 2026 offers a valuable platform to share the latest findings, exchange knowledge, and foster partnerships across disciplines. We encourage participation from academics, professionals, policymakers, and students to engage in meaningful discussions that contribute to sustainable development and climate adaptation.
